Sara Eliza Johnson

2013-34607-70 Sara Eliza Johnson’s first book, Bone Map (Milkweed Editions, 2014), was selected for the 2013 National Poetry Series. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Boston Review, Ninth Letter, New England Review, Best New Poets, Crab Orchard Review, Pleiades, Meridian, TriQuarterly Online, Southern Indiana Review, Salt Hill, Gulf Coast, Linebreak, DIAGRAM, Grist, Copper Nickel,, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers’ Award, an NEA Fellowship, two Winter Fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, a scholarship to the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and the Larry Levis Prize from the University of Utah, where she is a Ph.D student in the Literature & Creative Writing program.
